Hello hello!
Quick update!
As usual it's been busy so I'll give a rundown.
This week really starts on the Sunday where Marja and I had a modeling day. Money! Yei!
I modeled again on the Monday for four guys and it was very fun. More money!
I have a thing every Tuesday until maybe the end of May 26th at Morley College for a sculpture class. [The sculpture class is fun because they put you on a plinth and turn you every five minutes. ]
And then of course I'm still doing massages Wednesday and Friday evenings!
I give regular massages to a guy on Thursdays for his Sciatica.
I had a life class in Kensington Chealsea on friday and I have it again this upcoming Friday.
Saturday was epic.
Marja and I got up early and we got to food shopping. We did Deptford High street first and then after dropping things off at home went to Surrey Quays Tesco to do more. For the last two weeks of April due to lack of funds we've been trying not to spend money and so the last few days we were living off of lentils and frozen veg. XD We got very very creative with how to make food and we have lost a little bit of weight but it's not like we're *not* eating! Because of this last month we were only down by 14 pounds or so.
Anyways, after food shopping I went to dnd were I waited for Simon with Mark for a good 45 minutes. Simon got there...we played...hunted down food had a few beers one of which was free...
After *that* I went to join Marja and Laura her sister near Leichester Square. We went and had Tapas and enjoyed a bottle of wine. Laura was still hungry when we left so we went to a Mexican place...had Margaritas and some more food. After **that** we went to the Long Acre and despite Marja's and my own protests Laura got a bottle of sparkling wine and not a couple of glasses. The reason for the sparkling wine is because of a holiday in Finland celebrated on the 1st of May. So...we drank that was well.
After sending Laura on her way it was around 2am at this point that we walked to Cannon street from Holborn. We were to meet up with someone from the Dnd group who had told me that there was a star trek scifi thing going on. We found it and headed down after being told by this woman that it was filled with idiots. I blantantly told her that I too was an idiot.
This pub was the coolest pub I've seen. Hands down. It's called the London Stone and it's between Monument and Cannon Street Station. You go downstairs and and there's bookshelves and a bar and a few sci fi things around. There was people dressed up in Star Trek uniforms and someone with blue entennas...someone in a bajorean outfit and there was even a Tom Baker! [Apparently he's giving a signing on 7th of Thursday!!!]
They were playing music and playing Poker with matchsticks! Lawerence the guy who had invited us danced with us for ages and it was so funny because he danced the exact same dance that dad would always dance with me when I was little. It was so much fun! The place stayed open until 5 but we left around 3 something and got home around 4 to go to bed and get up the next day in time for Cat to come over with a cake for tea!
Whew. So we had fun with Cat and did some reasearch! Nog had sent Marja and me a dvd and the soundtrack of Noah the musical, which this year we will be the choreographers for. So we sat down and the three of us watched it and made many notes. We're starting to plan and thing and plot and all that good stuff. It feels a bit daunting but it should be so much fun. ^^ It'll be nice to work with the director for something....and see it in action. Fabulous.
So all of this brings us to today. Bank Holiday Monday! One of the guys from Dnd works for somewhere where he can get free tickets to say Kew gardens or the Tower of London. So today as a small group we're going to the tower! Mark, William [who provided the tickets] Marja, Me and someone else....are meeting up around 11 going and then we have the rest of the day to do....something. ^^
Also on the money side of things I did a commission and finished it getting 65 quid! ^^ So happy. I have another one as well which is slowly coming along.
Basically Marja and I are living month to month, barely making it but we're doing what we want and it's fun! Even though it's a bit hard. Marja has more free time now as her teaching is all on tuesdays...so she might go do something else. But from the 17th onwards we'll pretty much be up in Chesham every weekend. ^^ Little mini vacations! So wonderful to get away from the city.
Anyways I must go and eat brekkie and change. Love ya! [so much for a *quick* update...]
